Propeller’s Ocean MBA is an intensive bootcamp for ocean-climate founders, meant to accelerate your startup phase with knowledge, network, feedback, and funding for a select few.
Who should attend the Ocean MBA?
Early stage founders/founding teams working on ocean-climate startups with “narwhal” potential. The curriculum is geared toward the business aspects of startup, and is ideal for scientists/engineers, but the program pushes any founder (even actual MBAs) further, faster.
What are the terms and costs of participating in the Ocean MBA?
There are no guarantees of investment, nor any equity taken for participating in the Ocean MBA. The Ocean MBA is free.
Do we have to attend in person?
The curriculum and related exercises are all in-person only. Exceptions will only be made in the case of emergencies/health issues.
What stage of companies are accepted into the Ocean MBA?
From solo founder starting out to formed teams with some funding (grant or equity) through seed stage.
Can we bring our whole team?
Two cofounders is best. Solo founders or teams of three are also acceptable.
Face coverings are optional for all attendees of indoor events at MIT. Do not attend if you are experiencing symptoms or have been directly exposed recently. Consider testing before your arrival. Rapid tests will be on hand should you want to use them.
