Ebb Carbon’s electrochemical approach to ocean-based carbon removal has the potential to be one of the largest scale and lowest cost approaches to removing excess carbon dioxide from our atmosphere.  

• Why we love the founders – The Ebb founders are seasoned entrepreneurs, operators, and scientists, with longstanding relationships and a history of building climate technology. Ben, Matt, Todd and Dave know what they’re doing is hard, but they also have the experience and stamina to achieve their ultimate mission for scaled carbon removal. 
• What’s novel about Ebb’s tech – Ebb’s solution is elegant in the way it leverages (and enhances) the ocean’s natural ability to absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and leverages existing infrastructure moving seawater for heavy industries for efficient scaling through co-location.  
• Why we’re excited about this market – The market for carbon removal is growing quickly and Ebb Carbon is already a front-runner in the sector, with potential to hit gigaton scale in their sights. 
• How impactful Ebb Carbon could be – Gigaton scale removal is the holy grail, and Ebb Carbon is one of the few startups who are best positioned to achieve it with speed, scale, and efficient economics.
